Manufacturing industry calls for early UK referendum on EU

EEF, the UK manufacturing trade body, has called on Prime Minister David Cameron to hold a referendum on the UK’s membership of the EU at the earliest possible moment. The trade body has argued that, due the certainty of the referendum now going ahead, it would be in the UK’s best interest to hold it earlier than 2017.
