George Osborne announces new generation of Chinese backed Nuclear power stations in UK

The Chancellor, who is on trade mission in China, has agreed a deal with the Chinese for the construction of a nuclear power plant at Bradwell in Essex, as well as deal for Chinese financing for the Hinkley Point plant. Osborne has also promised £2bn of public money to back up the Hinkley project. He has stated in the past he wants to increase British business links with China.
