Ford introduces connected technologies in new Kuga SUV

Connected cars are increasingly entering mainstream markets, as shown by Ford’s latest model of its Kuga SUV, which has been launched at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona. The Kuga showcases a number of connected technologies, including Perpendicular Parking technology which allows drivers to park alongside cars hands-free, an updated collision-avoidance system, and the ability to link the car to a smartphone. Ford chief executive officer Mark Fields said: “As we look to the future, it is clear we are on the cusp of a revolution in mobility – from car sharing and autonomous driving to the customer experience.”
