Academic claims life could be found on another planet within the next 15 years

Astrobiologist Dr Lewis Dartnell made the claim about finding extra-terrestrial life at an IOP event held inside a tunnel in King’s Cross, London, on 8 October. He predicted it could happen in the next 10 to 15 years and said that he was optimistic about the possibilities. Dartnell did note that any life found was likely to be in microbial form and thus could be very hard to identify.
