Coal-fired stations in UK to be phased out by 2025

Amber Rudd announced in a speech yesterday to the Institution of Civil Engineers that the Government is seeking to shut all coal-fired power stations by 2025. Rudd explained that the UK should be focusing on the creation of more gas-fired power stations instead and championed the cost-effectiveness of nuclear as another energy source the country should embrace.
