Engineering a balance in recruitment and education

The ’25 by 25’ initiative at Texas A&M’s College of Engineering is on track, the plan being to enroll 25,000 engineers by 2025, but the number of women enrolling in the program is the real success –  which stands at 21%, surpassing the national average. For the second year in a row the College will have the largest female freshmen engineering intake across the nation.
